The Mira Foundation was created in 1981 on the conviction that dogs could help people living with disabilities. Since its founding, Mira has trained over 4,000 four-legged friends to help improve the lives of its beneficiaries.
Service and Companionship
Bernese Mountain Dogs, Labradors, Laberneses,
and Saint-Pierres—an average of 100 dogs a year are trained and adopted out for free. Their mission is to help people gain more autonomy and improve their quality
of life.

That Is the Question!
When Mira dogs wear a small red bandana around their neck, they're being socialized. Yes, you can say hello to them (with their caretaker's permission, of course!)
When they're equipped with a harness, they've finally passed their evaluation for the pairing stage and they're ready to go to work. Now, it's important not to disturb them!
