Roland Bastien decided to start his own factory based in Wendake in 1972. He specialized in manufacturing products worthy of his heritage using traditional techniques. In 2022, Jason Picard-Binet, a member of the Huron-Wendat Nation, took over the factory. He continues the work begun by the Bastien family while adding a modern twist to the company's pieces.
