PRL belt leather quality and longevity concerns
One thing to keep in mind is that "Genuine Leather" belts even from PRL and sold at mall department stores or PRL factory stores in this price range are likely to be made from processed layers of leather scraps with a layer of paint or vinyl for the outside color, and not properly tanned full-grain leather. So it will probably end up stretching and cracking more than full grain leather.
