Suede durability and appearance trade-off
Suede is not delicate, it's been working material for a long ass time, people wear winter boots out of this material, skate shoes were and is commonly made with suede. Suede is quite durable actually. The difference is Suede just sucks at maintaining how it appears. Like if you get this bag wet under heavy. rain it's gonna look rugged and grainy, splotchy in some areas, just no longer this smooth beautiful look. It'll still be durable, but it's not gonna look elegant.
