Taking Your Measurements

Grab your measuring tape!

Step 1

Bust

 Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape under your armpits and over your shoulder blades, with your arms at your sides.
Step 2

Waist

 Measure the narrowest part of your waist, which is usually near your belly button.
Step 3

Hips

 Keeping your feet together, measure around the widest part of your hips.
Step 4
|

Torso

 Place one end of the measuring tape on your shoulder and measure down over the fullest part of your chest, through your legs, and back up to your shoulder.

Stand up straight to take each measurement and make sure not to pull the tape too tight.

How to Keep Your Swimsuit Looking Brand New

Just like your skin and hair, your swimsuit can be affected by chlorine, salt water, and sun screen. These substances can break down the elasticity of the fabric and stain your suit or turn it yellow over time. Fortunately, there are a few simple things you can do to protect your swimsuit and keep it looking great for as long as possible.

Rinse It

 Rinse your suit in cold water or hand wash it with a gentle soap as soon as you can after wearing it.
Undo any ties first so as not to stretch out the fibres.
Do not put your swimsuit in the washing machine.
Never use bleach or fabric softener on your swimsuit.
Sponge It

Sponge It

 Sponge the excess water out of your swimsuit instead of wringing it out.
To do this, lay your suit flat on a towel and roll it up while pressing down lightly.
Do not leave your wet swimsuit in a plastic bag; the fabric could get mouldy.
Let it Dry

Let it Dry

 Lay your swimsuit out flat to dry somewhere out of the sun.
UV rays can cause the colour to fade and hanging it could cause it to stretch out or leave creases.
Never put your swimsuit in the dryer; it could damage the elasticity of the fabric.
