Drawing and painting have been part of Mélanie Foster's life since childhood—an extension of her emotions, energy, and identity. After studying graphic design, she specialized in illustration with the avowed goal of touching hearts and making both the young and old smile. She explored various techniques and gave drawing lessons before finding her signature style: merging animals and plants into new creatures with fascinating and endearing personalities. With her watercolours and coloured pencils, she brings plant animals to life, embodying the candour, gentleness, and innocence that characterize the age of wonder.
