At the start, Martin just wanted to distill his own alcohol. He quickly realized, however, that this was a life-long project. Rather than be discouraged, he saw an opportunity to simplify and deconstruct the art of gin-making to offer people the opportunity—or rather, the honour—of making, producing, and bottling their own recipe to savour to their heart's content. Today, he's riding high on the wave of success and has won awards for his work. Being able to create something so flavourful so simply is truly, as the brand's name suggests, a mark of genius.
