DICI was founded in 2019, but its story begins in 2012, when interior designer and president of the design firm AvecunAcccent, Lysia Carrier, travelled to Austria. The textures, furniture, and lifestyle she saw there inspired her to create her first-ever log tray. Today, alongside her colleagues Amilie Surprenant and Roseline Lussier, she focuses on the simple and calming effect of lines, functional designs, and social engagement. All this with the goal of creating things simply and handmaking objects here, in Quebec. She focuses on furniture and decor accessories that'll melt into the architecture for a smarter and happier human environment. Lysia boasts more than 20 years of experience working with architecture and design firms in both Europe and Canada. She is a certified and active member of the Association of Professional Interior Designers of Quebec (APDIQ) and Interior Designers of Canada (IDC).
