Annie Axtell

As a fine arts student at Concordia University in Montreal, Annie Axtell fell in love with screen printing. Appreciating the fine details and precision of the printing process, in it she found a means of expression that was simultaneously flexible and foolproof. From 2011 to 2016, she perfected her art in San Francisco, the place where she lay the groundwork for what would become her signature work of art, the lunar calendar, a dynamic creation that she prints by hand in her Vancouver studio.
