Verified claims
- Hold
- Combines no-crease elastic with smooth satin to avoid dents, frizz, and breakage.
- Material
- Satin and no-crease elastic prevent flattening and frizz during sleep.
- Pineapple method
- Satin scrunchies are the curly-hair guide-recommended tool for the pineapple method, with tutorials advising no more than two wraps to avoid flattening curls.
- Sleep design
- No-crease elastic holds hair without leaving a mark, so curls won't require restyling after sleep.
- Curl preservation
- Buyers report reduced frizz and preserved curls when used overnight.
- Fit
- May slip on fine hair; size down to ultra-petite for tighter hold.
- Price vs premium
- On sale at $9.99 for 5 ties, ~$2 each, cheaper than premium brands and nicer than Dollar Tree scrunchies.
- Key features
- Kitsch scrunchies include no-crease elastic, are machine-washable on a cold gentle cycle, and are marketed as sleep scrunchies for overnight use.
- Care
- Machine wash gentle (mesh bag, low dry) or hand cold (air dry).
- Pack size
- Comes as a five-pack, so there are multiple scrunchies for rotation, travel, or keeping one in different places.
- Fabric care tolerance
- The satin is woven from polyester, not natural silk, so these scrunchies can handle machine washing and low-heat drying better than silk satin would.
- Overnight breathability
- The scrunchie's breathable satin construction allows airflow to the scalp during sleep, helping prevent moisture buildup that can cause frizz and curl disruption by morning.
- Sizing
- These are the standard large puffy scrunchies, not the ultra-petite version.

Kitsch satin scrunchies are gentle and work well for curly hair
Second kitsch satin scrunchies. I use the smaller ones in the day and the massive pillow scrunchies to pineapple my hair underneath my bonnet

Kitsch pillow scrunchies are better quality than Dollar Tree dupes
I own both. I got the Kitsch one as a gift after I'd purchased the DT version. I will say the Kitsch one is better quality -- the filling is much softer and the satin fabric is nicer, overall a better quality product which I would hope it would be costing significantly more than than the DT counterpart. But DT's version is not bad at all.

Kitsch scrunchies criticized for low quality and slipping
I hate the Kitsch ones too! I got some online of both the regular width and the skinnies, and they both kept falling out and were falling apart quickly. The skinnies were rougher, but they both were low quality.
