Saxx sports model prevents chafing on long hikes
I got the SAXX sports and as someone who usually suffers from extreme chafing I can attest that they do an excellent job of preventing discomfort and I can now do 6 day hikes without having to lather my gooch in Vaseline. I’ve swapped out most of my old underwear for Saxx.

Mixed review: ball park feeling is great but overall quality disappoints
I wonder to see Saxx in this r/ my opinion is stil about the boxerbriefs, but the quality is the same like you get from any cheap walmart offer, beside the ball park. I was really disappointed and would not recommend Saxx, especially if you expect anything close to ExOfficio. Yet, the feeling of the ball park is great, especially when you are a bit older

Vibe and Quest models develop holes quickly at the ballpark seam
Unfortunately, having owned SAXX underwear now for 2 to 3 years now, I can tell you that they are not durable at all. I've had 8 pairs develop a hole right at the seam where "the ball park" starts at the back. Once the hole forms the underwear is finished. This has happened with Vibe and Quest underwear and I suspect it does not matter what style.

Daytripper model praised for daily use and activities, with minor fit issue
I wear daytrippers every day, including longer day hikes, daily 2-3 mile dog walks, and 1-2 hours in the gym. I tend to wear quests for backpacking, but recently have been asking myself why I assign the quests to this specific task. Both keep my sweaty balls from sticking to my sweaty thighs. Both dry very quickly, although the quests dry marginally faster. Regarding the fit, the only bit of my quests that are too tight are the cuffs around my thighs. To fix that, I pre-stretched each of them to the point that some thread snapped. Now that fit equally as well as my daytrippers without any problems. If you already have daytrippers and like those, then just stick with those.
