Each textile creation by Trisha and Mélanie- both artisans and mothers-carries the history of its founders, a blend of their three Quebecois, Canadian, and Indigenous cultures.

Artist Tsista Kennedy presents a beautiful shawl woven in black, grey, and golden yellow tones. He draws inspiration from the wild rice harvest, a practice from his Anishinabek culture that takes place at the harvest moon in September. The harvest is done in pairs using a long stick to strike the rice so it falls inside the canoe. Historically, for the Ojibwe, this rice was a staple food used to feed families during the winter. This garment pays tribute to this ancestral tradition.

This product meets the requirements of our Vision program because it comes from a circular production process or contains at least 50% reduced-impact materials compared to its conventional counterpart.
Recycled Wool
This product gives materials a second life. The recycled wool used to make it comes from reclaimed clothing or other wool scraps meticulously treated to be like new.
Recycled Acrylic
This product gives materials a second life. The recycled acrylic fibres used to make it come from pre- or post-consumer waste.
Reduction of Emissions
Unlike conventional wool, recycled wool does not depend on animal breeding, and therefore does not produce methane and carbon emissions linked to animal digestion and agrochemicals.
Water Conscious
Mechanically recycled wool requires less water than conventional wool, in particular because it does not require the initial washing step necessary for processing raw wool.
