Product Insights
The Taupe Felted Tissue Box by Simons Maison is an $18 in-stock accessory for standard flat tissue boxes up to 2.75 inches tall, offering a warm taupe hue that may vary on screens, with durable felt that resists pilling and shedding after brief initial shedding, requiring spot-cleaning or gentle hand-washing while avoiding rubbing—a tradeoff for those with taller tissue boxes that won't close properly.
Verified claims
- Compatibility
- Fits standard flat tissue boxes up to 2.75 in tall; taller boxes do not close. Built for the standard rectangular long-box format of about 9 x 4.75 x 2.75 in, including Kleenex Standard and Scotties Standard, with clearance.
- True color
- Taupe is a warm beige-brown; monitor settings affect screen appearance.
- Cleaning
- Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent; gentle hand-washing is possible if needed, but skip machine washing and tumble drying entirely, since agitation and heat can shrink or deform the felt.
- Durability
- Resists pilling and shedding, with only temporary initial shedding.
- Care
- Avoid aggressive rubbing when spot-cleaning or hand-washing, since rubbing can change the felt's texture.
- Bottom closure
- Buyers report a magnetic closure on the bottom flap that makes replacing the tissue box easy and keeps the cover closed.
- Material composition
- Outside: 100% polyester felt; inside: 100% cardboard.

A decor-friendly cover for loud tissue boxes
Slip your tissue box inside this felted taupe cover to hide loud packaging graphics, with reviewers using it as a living room accent that blends with wood floors and neutral sofas. The felt isn't water-resistant, so it's better suited to dry rooms than bathrooms or spots near sinks. Note that the actual shade may appear darker or warmer than shown online, which matters if you need an exact color match.[1]
Easy tissue refills with a magnetic bottom flap
Restock a bathroom tissue box in seconds: the cover opens via a magnetic flap at the bottom, so you can swap in a fresh standard-size tissue box one-handed and without tools, based on reviewer comments summarized by an analysis. Reviewers say this closure removes the refilling hassle. Note that it fits only standard tissue boxes — taller or bulk packs reportedly leave the flap gaping and the cover sitting crooked, and some users crush the box to make it fit.[1]
Pull tissues through a felt cover's top slot
This taupe felted tissue box cover has a horizontal slit centered on the top face, so tissues can be pulled out one at a time through the opening. The rectangular felt cover gives a standard tissue box a softer look in a bathroom or other room.[2,3]

| Taupe Felted Tissue Box: Choose this if you want a felted tissue box cover in warm taupe that hides loud tissue packaging and blends with wood floors or neutral sofas. It measures about 10.25 by 5.5 by 3.5 inches (26 x 14 x 9 cm), has a magnetic bottom flap for tool-free refills, and reviewers praise its sturdy, well-made feel — but note it fits only standard tissue boxes, so taller or bulk packs can leave the flap gaping, and the felt is not water-resistant, making it better suited to dry rooms than bathrooms.[1] | Fabric Tissue Box Cover: Choose this if you want a softer fabric alternative to a wooden tissue box cover: it is made of 100% reprocessed cotton in a speckled Ivory/Cream Beige with a simple, neutral look that reviewers report blends into neutral decor. It is a one-size cover measuring 9 by 5 by 3.5 inches with a central top opening, and reviewers describe a snug, easy fit on standard boxes without sagging. Note that fit and look feedback comes from a small number of reviews, so it is best suited to standard rectangular tissue boxes.[4] | Textured Tissue Box: Choose this if you want a chic, modern countertop accent: this rectangular cover has a fine ribbed textile texture, a rigid sturdy cardboard structure made from responsibly sourced paper, and a removable lid with an oval dispensing slot that hides a standard tissue box. It measures 9.5 x 5.5 x 3.5 inches (25 x 14 x 9 cm), and reviewers note the cover runs up to 4 cm wider and longer than a standard tissue box, so measure tight countertops or shelves first. Refilling requires lifting off the entire top with no bottom access flap, which can feel tedious with frequent refills, and the white version can have a slightly yellowed tint that may clash with cooler-toned decor.[5,6,7] |

Nice!
Great tissue box cover: Design and texture. I got 4 of them. Last forever. Good value.
Great decor piece
I love these tissue boxes, and now have them in every room of my home. No more ugly kleenex box designs, clashing with your rooms colour ways.

Simple and cute
Nice to cover up the ugly box of Kleenex
Simple and Perfect
Sleek and simple. The magnetic closure makes it so easy to use
J'adore

A bit too small for some tissue boxes
This is very attractive cover, but there is a flap on the bottom and the sides are a bit too short for my tissue boxes (admittedly, the ones I buy — in a six-pack — are large, but still a readily available size). Because of the flap not closing, the box sits crookedly. I mashed down the tissue box, which helps a lot, but if the box was just a tiny bit taller, I wouldn’t have to.
Beautiful and functional
It’s perfect, it looks great and it’s sturdy.
Cute decor addition
Cute boxes! But beware they only fit standard tissue boxes. I have some boxes that are a little taller and they do not fit unfortunately.

Love this!
Let's face it, there must be a competition to make the ugliest packaging on tissue boxes! This felted tissue box covers up those ugly boxes and looks amazing.
