Revolution Scoop Wireless Bra
The Revolution Scoop Wireless Bra by Knix is a wireless scoop-neck bra made from a nylon-spandex blend (43% nylon, 57% spandex) with molded foam cups and built-in 3D-fabric stabilizers for moderate support. It features adjustable thin straps and a two-hook back closure, and is available in sizes X-SMALL to X-LARGE. User reviews of the Revolution line note that the bonded construction may affect long-term durability and that straps may be shorter than on traditional bras.

Product Insights
The Knix Revolution Scoop Wireless Bra ($68 CAD) promises invisible layering and all-day comfort with buttery-soft BeyondSmooth fabric, removable teardrop cups, and bonded edges that stay hidden under clingy tops, but this comfort comes at the cost of durability: buyers report the bra loses shape within weeks, bonded seams delaminate, and permanent stains develop despite hand washing, contradicting the brand’s 1,500-hour wear testing claim—making it best for those seeking a moderate-support, natural shape for cup sizes up to G, who prioritize invisibility over longevity.
Verified claims
- Durability
- Buyers report bonded bra loses shape quickly and cannot be repaired.
- Wear testing
- Buyer reports contradict brand's 1,500-hour wear testing claim.
- Size calculator
- Size determined via Knix on-site calculator from bust and underbust measurements; no static size chart.
- Support system
- Bonded stretch construction provides only moderate support, insufficient for larger cup sizes.
- Fabric feel
- The BeyondSmooth fabric is buttery-soft with 4-way stretch that recovers rapidly.
- Removable cups
- Removable teardrop cups adjust silhouette from defined to soft.
- Strap length
- Shorter straps than traditional bras cause discomfort for longer torsos.
- Material & support
- Stretchy spandex/nylon with Integra stabilizers provides flexible support, unlike sewn bras' structured panels and fixed cups.
- Customer service
- Buyers report Knix customer service as mixed but occasionally responsive.
- Fit
- Buyers report the bra loses its shape within a month.
- Stain resistance
- Fabric develops permanent stains that do not wash out.
- Cup design
- Teardrop-shaped cups are soft, light, and scaled per size for natural projection.
- Removability
- Removable cups offer padded or unlined look; stabilizers maintain lift.
- Invisibility
- Silicone-bonded cup edges and scoop neckline keep the bra invisible under clingy tops.
- Design approach
- Prioritizes comfort and adaptability over maximum shaping, with the yoga pants for your boobs positioning.
- Neckline coverage
- Wider, shallower neckline stays hidden under crew necks and high-cut tops.
- Invisible under tops
- Bonded edges, second-skin fabric, and stabilizers keep bra invisible under T-shirts.
- Size and shape
- Best for cup sizes up to G who want a natural, relaxed shape.
- Use cases
- Designed for invisible layering and moderate daily support, not high-impact.
- Stains
- Buyers report permanent stains that don't wash out within a month.
- Shape retention
- Bra loses shape after only a few washes, per buyers.
- Seam integrity
- Bonded seams delaminate from washing and can't be repaired.

Deep Research
Real support for D+ and G cups
- The Revolution line is built to cover a spectrum from 30A to 44G, and the Scoop Bra extends that inclusivity through a plus-size grading system (XS+ to XXXXL++) that adds incremental cup volume — meaning the support architecture scales to larger cups rather than just adding inches to a small-cup template.
What BeyondSmooth fabric actually is
- The fabric's 57% spandex content—far above the typical 10–20% in wireless bras—enables full four-way stretch and rapid recovery, which means the bra maintains a consistent, adaptive hold throughout the day without the bagging-out that lower-spandex blends develop after hours of wear.
- Wear-testers describe BeyondSmooth as 'light, stretchy, and buttery smooth,' noting it remains 'comfortably snug –– never as tight as a sports bra,' which supports the claim that this bra can work as a whole-day piece for those who prioritize softness and freedom of movement over maximum compression.
How it compares to sewn wireless bras
- The Knix Revolution Scoop at $68 CAD and the Elomi Downtime Bralette at $72 USD sit in the same mid-range wireless bra tier, so the choice between them is driven by fit philosophy rather than cost.
- Knix uses an XS–XXXXL alpha sizing with plus variants that relies on the fabric’s stretch for a more relaxed, adaptable fit, while Elomi offers traditional band-and-cup sizing up to a UK J/JJ cup for a precise, locked-in underbust fit — a key distinction for wearers who need exact measurements over stretch-based accommodation.
- Knix uses a 57% spandex / 43% nylon blend for a high-stretch, silky handfeel, while Elomi Downtime’s 57% Tencel Modal / 22% polyamide / 21% elastane knit delivers a softer natural-fiber surface with less stretch — the Knix’s higher spandex content is why it’s often described as “yoga pants for your boobs,” whereas Elomi’s modal blend prioritizes breathability and a more traditional fabric structure.
- Knix provides wireless support through built-in 3D fabric stabilizers at the center front and side wings, resulting in a light, flexible hold, whereas Elomi incorporates a hidden side support sling and an inner powermesh panel at the cup base for more structured lift and forward projection — ideal for fuller busts needing conspicuous shaping.
- The Revolution Scoop relies on a bonded, seam-free construction that the brand promises is “invisible under clothes,” while the Elomi Downtime bralette combines seamless molded cups with a sewn-in side support sling — giving it a more sculpted, forward-focused shape for those who want defined separation.
How the wireless support actually works
- The Revolution Scoop's internal architecture employs a three-zone 3D-fabric stabilization system called Integra: stabilizer panels inside the front straps concentrate lift, a center-front underband point resists folding, and a side cup sling prevents east-west spillage — a design sequence that distributes support across the bra instead of relying on a rigid underwire, enabling genuine A–H cup coverage.
- Before launch, the Revolution Bra underwent three years of development and over 1,500 hours of wearer testing across a wide size range, an investment that suggests the fit and support have been pressure-tested on real bodies, not just mannequins.
- The cups inside the Revolution Scoop are teardrop-shaped rather than circular, so they follow natural breast projection, and they are removable, allowing the wearer to choose between more definition or a softer silhouette — a flexibility that extends the bra's use from under a crisp tee to a draped top.
- The bra's outer shell is BeyondSmooth™, a buttery nylon-spandex with 4-way stretch, so the body of the bra moves with the wearer rather than fighting movement, while the internal stabilizers still deliver the structure — meaning the comfort feel of a bralette coexists with the support of a constructed bra.
- The Revolution Scoop is engineered for moderate support rather than high-impact control, with molded foam cups and a two-hook back closure — a signal that it's designed to provide smoothing and shaping under T-shirts and daily wear, not sports-level hold.
- The Revolution Bra uses silicone bonding instead of traditional stitching on the cup rim, creating a smooth edge that disappears under clothing — this, combined with the internal stabilizers, means the support is delivered without the bulk or telltale cup-edge lines of conventional bras.
- Knix markets the Revolution line as “yoga pants for your boobs,” a phrase that captures the design intent: a bra that provides the held-in, adaptable comfort of premium athleisure, making it an option for those who switched to wireless during the pandemic and want that ease without losing shape.
Navigating the XS–XL+ sizing system
- There is no static conversion chart from standard bra sizes to Knix alpha-plus codes; the brand instructs you to input your underbust and full bust measurements into its on-site size guide — available directly on the Revolution Scoop Bra product page — which then outputs your Knix size.
- The wireless band is intentionally firm out of the box but relaxes after a few wears and washes; Knix advises against sizing up immediately and recommends giving the bra several days to mold to your body before reassessing fit.
How the Scoop fits into the Revolution line
- The Scoop delivers a wider, shallower neckline that stays hidden under crew necks and high-cut tops, in contrast to the V-Neck style (part of the same Revolution line) which cuts a narrower, plunging opening better paired with low necklines.

Q&A
1 answered- Do different colors (e.g., black vs. green) fit differently due to dye and fabric bonding, and if so, is there a recommendation to size up or down for certain colors?
- Yes, according to community feedback, darker colors like black tend to fit tighter than lighter colors such as green due to the dye and fabric bonding process. If you choose a darker shade, you may want to consider sizing up for a more comfortable fit.

Lingerie developer warns about bonded construction in Knix Revolution bras
THIS is why as a lingerie product developer I loathe things that are bonded, fused, glued, melted - whatever it is, rather than sewn together. Sure, it has a nice smooth, clean and minimalistic look, but it's not repairable, and I feel these garments have a high rate of failure. (Another user noted: 'It’s been a while, but when I dealt with them their customer service was quite good.')

Insider and user feedback on Revolution bra fit, sizing, and durability
Compared to traditional bras, the Revolution V-Neck bras generally have shorter straps. If you try on other bras in the Revolution collection, you’ll notice the same thing across the line. Knix sizing runs quite awkward... The Revolution V-Neck bra relaxes a lot over time... Darker dyes often cause fabrics to fit tighter than lighter colours... My experience with knix. The fabric is like bathing suit material. It fit and was supportive, 42J, for 2 washings. ... I bought my first Knix bra about a month ago and was professionally fitted at the store. It fit great at the store and now a month in and its completely lost its shape... It also has strange stains on it that don't come out in the wash.
