Product Insights
The AnaOno Bianca Pocketed Post-Surgery Bra Moderate Compression is an 89 CAD, in-stock wireless post-op bra photographed on people who have had breast cancer and prototyped on real patients, with a six-hook front closure that fastens without raising the arms, seam-free cups to reduce friction and overhead strain, and mesh pockets that hold the included thin removable pads, a prosthesis, or a lightweight form for any chest. Its moderate compression sits between the Ella and Dani and is standard recovery support for mastopexy, breast reduction, augmentation, reconstruction and oncoplastic recovery, reducing early post-op pain and swelling but not seroma, hematoma or drain output. The cut is deliberately snug to keep a prosthesis from migrating, which can create band pressure at drain or lymph-node sites; AnaOno's looser option is the Rora, while the Brenda adds a breathable mesh front panel the Bianca omits. Mesh is limited to the lining and back for breathability and heat/perspiration management during yoga, Pilates and lower-impact gym-to-street wear, not high-impact training, over a 63% nylon/37% spandex power-stretch knit with an uninterrupted microfibre front. Durability is supported by a buyer wearing it day and night for nearly a year and a six-hook closure that re-tightens as the band relaxes, though softness reports are mixed: widely recommended for softness, but one Bianca buyer found the fabric not soft. All ten Black and Beige/Greige X-Small to X-Large variants are in stock at a flat 89 CAD with no size or colour premium, and it is sold as mainstream lingerie at Soma, ThirdLove, Nordstrom and Target.com, with a rating of 1 review.

Expensive price for a terrible bra
This bra is not supportive and the material is not soft or comfortable. The bra is flimsy and seems cheap. I returned it.

Positive review highlighting softness, adjustability, and durability
I got AnaOno bras for my lumpectomy. I really like them--they're soft, offer good compression, and don't cut into my incision. I also like that they close in the front. Mine have 3 vertical rows of hooks and eyes so I can adjust the size. I needed the largest size when I left the hospital and for a while after that; then I went down to the medium size. IIRC, I wore them 24/7 for about a month post-surgery. I'm more than a year out from my lumpectomy, and I still wear them. They've held up very well.

Recommendation for small cup/large band: adjustable front closure with multiple clasps
Maybe check out AnaOno. I wore their front closure bra post SMX recovery and it has 4 clasps so you can adjust, which might help with the band size needs. They’re a little pricey, but I have three of them now that I rotate and have worn one everyday since my surgery over a year ago, so definitely getting my cost per wear.

Endorsement of AnaOno Rora bra for comfort and insurance coverage
Also check out AnaOno. They are post-op specialists and have bras for every chest type. I got their Rora front closing bra and as someone who stopped wearing bras several years before my diagnosis, it was very comfortable especially for sleep. And even after prolonged wear (24/7 for weeks as instructed) it didn’t even smell. They take insurance too.

Negative experience: side pain from the band
I bought one of the AnaOno bras and did not like it-- the band somehow hurt my side. I think it may have had to do with the drain placement or lymph node biopsy?
