Stock laces sucked massively but changed to the saw tooth ones from Amazon and comfort went up and the tongue stayed in place too. Definitely not a soft shoe but the foam is very responsive. Really gives back the more you put into it. At slow paces I don't like it much at all but once I pick up the pace a bit into tempo zone and quicker I really enjoy the shoe.'
