Comparison of Lemaire Medium Croissant vs Bottega and strong recommendation
I have the Lemaire croissant in a medium size and although not these specific models, have two Bottega bags so can speak to the quality of both. Bottega intrecciato is definitely more elevated in appearance than the Lemaire, but I loveeeee my croissant bag to death. The wide strap is super comfortable and even the small size will fit a lot. The BV dust bags straps look pretty thin and might be uncomfortable after prolonged wear and the way it cinches would make me concerned on wear for the intrecciato at the opening. Bottega leather is unmatched in quality but the croissant in the Nappa lambskin is also nothing to scoff at. Super soft and has held up for me with daily use. My vote is for the Lemaire for ultimate bang for your buck. I love Bottega’s bags and it definitely reads less casual than the croissant bag, but I feel like for the amount of money being spent the dust bag models aren’t worth it with long term use.
