Verified claims
- Length
- Runs short through the body; sizing up from SML-MED to MED-LARGE adds extra length and coverage.
- Sleeves
- Long flared sleeves adjust at the cuffs with tie-up drawcords to cinch the opening and change the sleeve shape.
- Sheerness
- The openwork sweater is semi-sheer and unlined, requiring an underlayer for modesty.
- Layering
- The short length pairs best with high-waisted bottoms, and the semi-sheer knit needs a layer underneath for full coverage.
- Design details
- Openwork knit has a textured lace-like surface with scalloped trim and tie-up cuffs.
- Value
- At $89 CAD, the Icône undercuts comparable openwork sweaters by 40–65%.
- Hand feel
- Soft, stretchy openwork knit with a lace-like texture.
- Comfort
- Lightweight warmth and breathability for transitional layering.
- Fit
- The 50% acrylic blend resists shrinkage and helps the knit hold its shape, but any pills that form are permanent.
- Care
- Hand wash cold, flat dry; avoid wringing and tumble drying.
- Material
- 50% cotton, 50% acrylic blend provides better shape retention and pill resistance than pure cotton.
- Washing
- Freeze before washing, then hand-wash in cold water (≤30°C) for ≤5 minutes, inside-out in a mesh bag.
- Drying
- Lay flat to air dry; never tumble dry to avoid permanent deformation.
- Storage and upkeep
- Store folded, smooth snags by hand, and remove pills with a fabric shaver.
- Sleeve silhouette
- Adjustable drawcords reshape the sleeve from bell to lantern silhouette.
- Sleeve effect
- Buyers describe the sleeve shape as the sweater's standout feature.
- Craftsmanship
- Openwork knit with scalloped trim; imported from Italy.
- Design versatility
- Tie cuffs, unlined knit, and shorter length make it easy to layer over a sundress or a tank top with jeans.
- Silhouette
- The sweater has a boxy, relaxed silhouette.

A light layer over a sundress for summer events
According to a reviews analysis, this openwork knit sweater is worn layered over a sundress for summer events, where the open knit adds texture without weight for a boho-chic look. Reviewers also style it over tanks and jeans for versatile, lightweight layering.[3]
Casual everyday layering piece
Reviewers reach for this openwork knit sweater for casual everyday outfits, layering it over tank tops, sundresses, or jeans. Its lightweight knit and neutral look make it a grab-and-go piece for versatile styling, according to a reviews analysis.[3]
Pairing with high-waisted bottoms
This cropped sweater hits above the hip, making it a fit for styling with high-waisted trousers or wide-leg pants — the shorter length accentuates the waist for a flattering silhouette. Reviewers note it runs short, so those with longer torsos or who prefer mid-hip coverage may find it works best exclusively with high-waisted pairings rather than low-rise bottoms, where it may leave the midriff exposed.[3]
A feminine, eye-catching sweater look
Reviewers reach for this Icône sweater when they want a feminine statement piece, thanks to its openwork lace-knit design. The tie-up cuffs and dentelle detail draw the eye, and reviewers report the look draws compliments.[3]

| Openwork Knit Tie-Up Cuffs Sweater: Choose this if you want a lightweight, stretch openwork knit with a feminine, eye-catching look — reviewers report layering it over sundresses, tanks, and jeans, and praise the tie-up cuffs and scalloped, cropped hem for high-waisted pairings. Note that it runs short with semi-sheer eyelet areas and may leave the midriff exposed with low-rise bottoms, so it may not suit shoppers seeking full coverage. Care involves cold water washing (30°C or below), laying flat to dry, and smoothing snags by hand rather than pulling them.[1,2,3,4,5] | Irregular Ribbing Crossover V-Neck Sweater: Choose this if you want a fitted, cropped short-sleeve knit with an ultra-supple stretch and an irregular-ribbed crossover V-neck that ends in a pointed asymmetric hem at the front. It is made of 85% viscose and 15% polyester, with a layered crossover look at the waist, ribbed cuffs with a slight scalloped edge, and a wider ribbed band at the hem. Note that the fine, irregularly spaced ribbing makes the lightweight knit slightly sheer in areas, so it may show skin tone beneath.[6,7,8] | Touch Of Wool Raglan Sleeves Henley Sweater: Choose this if you want a soft, stretchy wool-blend knit — it combines reprocessed viscose and polyester with wool and a touch of cashmere wool, and reviewers describe the fabric as pleasant and comfortable against the skin. It has a relaxed, boxy and slightly cropped henley cut with slightly puffed raglan sleeves, ribbed cuffs and hem, and a short button placket, and reviewers found the design flattering and true to its online photos. Note that many reviewers report the sizing runs large, so consider sizing down if you prefer a closer fit.[9,10,11] |

J’aime son allure féminine
J’apprécie beaucoup le tissu et le style dentelle, La manche donne un bel effet à ce chandail.
Beautiful, very feminine
This pretty open-knit sweater goes with everything: over a sundress, or over a tank top with jeans.

Technical breakdown of the sweater's cuff
It appears to be machine-made except for the crocheted edging around the fronts and neck. The cuffs and waistband look as if stitches were cast off and then cast on again on the next row to make the rows of holes: machine cast-on isn't like human cast-on, which would, I think, give it that look. I have no idea what's going on in the space between the two rows of holes: I can't make out any stitch details. All of this is just guesswork, but I doubt you can duplicate that look by hand.
