Cheap build, decent lenses, good for casual use
I've had a pair of Polaroid and they were on the cheaper side material-wise. Chincy plastic. Lenses were decent. Good for casual/throwaway pair but not something for long term. If you can find them, Suncloud is my preferred cheap polarized brand. Usually $50US or less on sale. Polycarbonate, coated plastic lenses, good hardware.

Polarization peeling within a year ruins the glasses
No they’re trash, the polarization peels off over time. And by over time I mean within the year. It’s possible it’s because I left them in my car, which was specifically why I bought them, but I’ve never had it happen with any other of the dozens of pairs of sunglasses I’ve left in my car.
