Cracking frames reported with IZIPIZI reading glasses
I wear them a lot and used to love them. But for some reason since last year, they started to crack the frame all of a sudden, without me applying brute force on it. Their policy entitles you to get free replacements (you need to send them pictures of the damage plus pictures of the serial number). The thing is, the replacement ones cracked just the same. So I now had 4 or even 5 (reading) glasses in a row that all of a sudden cracked.

IZIPIZI frames criticized for cheap materials and breakage
Izipizi frames suck. I have had many pairs (don't ask me why I kept buying them but they were convenient at the Barnes and Noble store I frequent. You are lucky to get six months with them. The material is super cheap. Most likely the hinges will break (not metal nor spring) or the front of the frame will break. This is the last pair I will purchase. Stay away.

IZIPIZI reading glasses noted as appealing but not great for distance
i have no direct experience beyond just fiddling with them in-store, but my local opticians have begun stocking these: https://www.izipizi.com/ww_en/reading-glasses/reading-reading.html They are not that great as daily distance wear, but for what you are describing they look appealing enough.
