A wardrobe basic
I've been buying these tights for several years now as an extra layer for winter. I used to find them too itchy and preferred cashmere blend tights, but those are more delicate and get ruined too quickly. I've found hand washing these in a quality wool shampoo makes them softer and they're much more comfortable that way.

This is my second purchase because i wanted a different color. I will only buy merino tights for cold weather. They are warm and long lasting. Turn inside out wash in gentle cycle hang to dry…should last me years.

The fabric is soft, sturdy and warm. The feet have defined heels to help prevent both sides from getting nappy. The crotch doesn't sag or getting annoying in any way.

These must be the itchiest tights ever created. They are literally unbearable. Ripped them off the second I put them on. Thought merino was supposed to be soft but these are not, maybe it's the acrylic.

I have bought this product in previous years in a different colour. It is a warm, heavy weight tight. The sand colour is slightly darker and more brown in person than in the photograph. It may still work for my off-white coloured outfit.

They are a little itchy when you first put them on (wool is itchy sometimes) but after a while it goes away and the second time you wear them it's not itchy at all, so I think the fabric just needs to soften up a bit from use. Over all really nice quality, and I'll probably buy more.

The Mondor tights are soooooo thick and last so much longer than the Capezio tights I wore for ballet. So if you like to shave year-round and don't get cold and want some skin tone to come through, Capezio are okay. If you want to be warm and hide your hairy winter legs (like me!) 😆 and look like a skater, go for Mondor!
