It’s sterling silver, not gold. Which is very much cheaper to produce. The emerald is very low quality and oil filled , probably Zambian which are cheap and plentiful. Please bear in mind that although it seems cheap at $100 the average jeweler markup is 300% so a piece like this is worth about $35

Warning about Ross-Simons repair policy
DO NOT BUY if you may have something break. I've been buying for years, most of it is good. The gold over silver will turn silver so don't waste your money. My husband purchased a gorgeous sapphire and diamond bracelet for me 4 years ago, had a stone fall out and they said there is nothing they can do. Nothing....even though the exact same bracelet is still being actively sold.
