The newer shirts are clearly thinner. I ordered several from Amazon, had to send two back for replacements. One had a bad place in the cloth, another had the patch on the pocket sewn on at a slant. QC has definitely slipped in recent years. I’ll be moving on to Ariat or Dickies.

Disappointment with Reduced Material Quality
Carhartt is known for their durable workwear and outerwear. I dont understand why they would reduce the quality when its literally one of the few things that distinguishes them from the competition. its reckless imo, just to save money on a couple of oz of cotton per shirt.

Force Pocket Tee Fit and Comfort Feedback
The force tees are nice. They do fit true to size and are much more form fitting than the k87. They do shrink some in the wash. I prefer the k87 because I like my work clothes baggier so I don’t feel restricted crawling around and climbing ladders. The k87 is a heavier material and it is boxy. They run big and I have not noticed much if any shrinking in the wash.
