36. I only had time to try on a 38 (511) today, and they were comfortable. My only concern with the 38, was that it left me an inch and a half of space around the waist. Is that ok to have, while wearing fitter/skinnier jeans? I've read most big fellas have problems around the crotch area w/ 511s, so maybe sizing up is a good idea. Idk.

Discontinuation of 100% cotton 511s
My main reason for asking was because I'm tired of going in stores looking for a new pair. That was the only style of jeans I wore from like 2008-2016. I always hated the ones that weren't 100% cotton. Last year, my wife bought me jeans and got me stretchy ones and not one to complain i just wore them. Now that I've worn those out, I wanted to buy another pair of 100% cotton and I've looked in a number of stores but can't find them anywhere. I ended up just asking levis directly today and they said they discontinued them in 100% cotton. I still have one old pair but it has a hole in the back pocket. Was hoping to just get some new pairs. I will check for some used ones but I may just have to find a new style of pants that I like
