Better than I expected. I thought that they might bear permanent imprints of hot dishes placed on them, but they don’t. These mats work out perfectly for our purposes and are so soft that they do not scratch the table top as previous mats have done. They are also compact for storage. I even bought different colour ones for use on desks. I love them.

They look like real leather
and they are double sided! Just in case! We've been using the chillwick woven placemats for decades but wanted to add colour so chose these and I love the green also love that they are solid, we always had leaks and loads of crumbs that went through to the other side of the woven placemats.

These have stayed on the table since I bought them. They’re a great option if you already have a lot going on in your dining room and don’t want to add more patterns but still want it to be interesting. They wipe down easily.

Overall the placemats were what I expected. I was upset to see a $9. 50 price tag on most of them but I paid $12. 00. One of the placemats is crinkle (damaged and will not lie flat) and it cant be fixed.
