Product Insights
The Simons Maison Artistic Flower Bath Mat is a 100% organic cotton, low-pile flat-weave mat shaped like a flower, priced at $28 (or $9.99 on sale) — matching or undercutting synthetic alternatives while offering faster drying, mildew prevention, and increasing softness and absorbency with each wash. Its ecological commitment and Canadian-designed motif come without a non-slip backing, requiring a clean, dry floor for safe use, but the flat weave keeps petal edges flush to reduce trip hazards.
Verified claims
- Trip hazard
- Place the flower-shaped mat on a stable, clean, dry surface so its petal edges lie flat and do not create a trip hazard.
- Drying
- Un-backed organic cotton dries from both sides, preventing mildew and speeding drying.
- Price comparison
- Same price as synthetic (CAD 28) with faster drying.
- Aging benefit
- Softens and becomes more absorbent after 5–10 wash cycles
- Ecological commitment
- Part of Simons Maison's public commitment to use more ecological fabrics.
- Material
- 100% organic cotton, no synthetic backing, and farmed without pesticides.
- Value
- At CAD 28 regular price, the mat costs the same as Simons Maison's synthetic Chenille Memory Foam Bath Mat; at CAD 9.99, it undercuts budget organic cotton two-packs.
- Design story
- Motif informed by global trends and Canadian design talent.
- Shape
- Flower silhouette distinguishes from standard rectangular mats.
- Sale price
- Sale price of $9.99 undercuts comparable organic bath mats.
- Safety
- No non-slip backing; requires a stable, clean, dry surface for safe use.
- Placement
- The organic cotton mat needs a stable, clean, dry floor to grip safely.
- Care
- Machine washing softens the cotton and improves absorbency over time, and the unbacked construction allows the mat to dry from both sides.
- Softness
- Buyers repeatedly describe the mat as soft, cozy, and pleasant on bare feet.
- Colorfastness
- One buyer reports the green dye bled into the white areas after the first wash.
- Color accuracy
- Buyers describe the blue as more denim than navy with cream, and one buyer who expected white received off-white/beige.

Add a floral accent to a bathroom makeover
For shoppers decorating their bathroom, this mat's retro-pop flower design and muted colors can turn a basic bath into a decorated space. Customers have used it in curated bathroom makeovers, pairing it with Simons' floral shower curtains to soften sleek, modern decor. Note that the off-white base has been reported to clash with pure white tiles in all-white bathroom themes.[1]
A plush landing spot after your shower or bath
Customer feedback describes this mat's plush texture as gentle on wet feet and indulgent on bare skin after a shower, adding a cozy feel at the tub exit. The 65 by 67 cm size fits most tub exits and is ideal for compact bathrooms, though some shoppers note larger rooms may need more coverage.[1]
Staying put on slick bathroom floors
This bath mat is meant for everyday use in bathrooms with slick vinyl or tile floors, where its non-slip backing is reported to hold the mat firmly in place — including on wet floors — helping prevent slips. For the mat to grip properly and be used safely, Simons notes it should be placed on a stable, clean, and dry surface.[1]
Machine-washable mat for easy bathroom cleanup
This bath mat is easy-care and can go straight into the washing machine and dryer, so refreshing it after everyday bathroom use is simple. Shoppers considering the green color option should note reported feedback that its dye may bleed into the white floral pattern, especially on the first wash, with the potential to permanently mark the mat.[1]
Product comparison

| Artistic Flower Bath Mat 65 X 67 Cm: Choose this if you want a decorative, plush underfoot mat for a compact bathroom: this scalloped flower-shaped mat measures 25 inches by 26 inches (65 x 67 cm), is made of 100% organic cotton with a dense high-pile shaggy texture, and its non-slip backing is reported to hold firm on vinyl or tile, including wet floors. It is easy-care and machine washable, and reviewers note it works well for post-shower barefoot comfort and pairs with Simons' floral shower curtains to soften modern decor. Be aware the 65 x 67 cm size may be too small for larger bathrooms, buyers expecting bright white may find the base reads off-white or beige, and the green variant's dye has been reported to bleed into the white sections after the first wash.[1,2] | Small Daisies Bath Mat 50 X 80 Cm: Choose this if you want a cheerful, tufted daisy accent mat — it's made of 100% organic cotton with plush white petals and a cozy feel underfoot, and reviewers say it looks just like the photos and brightens the bathroom. At 50 x 80 cm (about 20 by 32 inches), it's machine washable and dryable, though it sheds heavily in the laundry, so wash it separately and clean the dryer filter after each cycle. Note it has no rubber backing and limited absorbency, so it's best placed on a stable, dry floor away from the shower rather than as a wet-tile step-off mat.[3,4] | Floral Medallion Bath Mat 50 X 80 Cm: Choose this if you want a decorative sink-side mat for a small bathroom: this navy/midnight blue, 20 by 32 inch (50 x 80 cm) mat is 100% cotton, absorbent and soft to the touch, with a raised looped-pile floral medallion pattern. Reviewers praise the intricate design as a pretty focal point and find the compact size an easy fit for tight spaces. Note that it is thinner than some buyers expect, offering minimal cushioning for long stretches of standing, and at this size it will not catch drips from a standard tub or shower, so measure your space if you need more coverage.[5] |

Charming flower
Perfect for my very modern bathroom. Softens it.
Loved shape, design but colour not as stated.
Thought I was buying a white mat but it’s actually off white, almost beige. I had to return it.
Super cute mat
Love it! Looks beautiful in my bathroom! Nice material
Sweet
Just the right size for stepping out of a bathtub or shower. Blue is more denim than navy with cream. Very pretty and doesn’t move around on luxury vinyl floor.
Colour bled after first wash
I had previously bought these bath mats (last year) and was so leased with them I bought more. Unfortunately the green colour had bled into the white colour upon the first wash which makes them look shabby. So sad about this.
Beau rapis
Un peu déçu par la finition.
Très satisfaite
Tapis de bain parfait et bien joli, il nous fait sourire

Great! Nice colors, material and thickness of mats
Good quality and color
Bought this for my granddaughter’s bathroom, she loves blue. Size is as stated but I’d like one a little larger for the space we’re using it in. It is soft with thick pile, does not slip.
