That's actually a really good idea, its hard trying not to get water in my dogs ears while taking a bath. I have given them ear infections from getting water in their ears accidentally :(

Dog cooperation and ear health rationale
Yeah but she doesn't put up a fuss no matter what I do. When I do her nails, clean her ears or groom her she just sits their like a good girl. And since she is a sharpei her ears don't drain well so it's always a bad thing if water gets in her ears when she gets a bath.
