A dive into our exclusive collaborations and special partnerships.
A few months ago, Simons announced that it would be acquiring Rituels, a company from Quebec City that specializes in shaving accessories and other grooming products for men. This major event marked the very first purchase of a company in Simons’ 178-year history. Discover what made us marvel at this new member of our family.
This partnership formed naturally seeing as the two Quebec companies share many of the same values and interests. Like Simons, Rituels pays great attention to detail when it comes to selecting the products it offers, places the utmost importance on caring for the environment and the community, and is committed to providing customers with an unparalleled shopping experience in the hopes of forging long-term relationships.
The men’s grooming market is currently expanding, which is why it is vitally important to choose products that are best adapted to men’s needs.
Rituels’ products are handcrafted in Quebec from entirely natural, plant-based ingredients. This means that in addition to efficiently doing what they are meant to do, they are also good for your skin and the planet.
You’ll love their unique, yet refined, masculine scent that calls to mind memories of trips to the east, but also walks in the spruce forests of home with a well-balanced arrangement of bergamot, bitter orange, cypress, and patchouli notes.
For many men, shaving is a boring and sometimes painful daily burden that happens quickly at the corner of the sink. Rituels wants to transform what can be at times a disagreeable task into a pleasant experience that lets you take a moment for yourself, a ritual that you wouldn't miss for anything in the world.
Opt for natural care products. It's strongly recommended that you use plant-based products, since these provide a more pleasant shaving experience and are softer on your skin. Artificial foaming agents, fragrances, and alcohol contained in chemical shaving creams can cause razor burn, which you want to avoid.
Use shaving cream and a shaving brush. This might seem like an unnecessary extra step for some, but a good shaving cream applied with a shaving brush helps you gently exfoliate while protecting and nourishing your skin. It acts as a protective barrier in order to help you avoid cuts and redness.
Personalize your routine. In order to spice up your morning routine, switch up the scents of your shaving creams from time to time depending on how you feel or the time of year. Your ritual will become more personalized depending on when you shave: before work, after working out, or even before a date. These fragrances may even become your signature scent.
Do it in style. Like every important action in your life, shaving is done best when you have the right tools. And why not opt for ones that are as effective as they are easy on the eyes? That being the case, swap your plastic razor for a super stylish one made out of metal and choose a shaving brush that holds water well in order to create a thick and long-lasting foam. Voilà!
