Super Leakproof fails to meet absorbency claims
First time using- I wore a pair of knix super leakproof (web says it should absorb 2-3 SUPER tampons worth of blood). Within 4 hours I had bled off of the crotch patch all along the seams and the blood soaked through to the front of the underwear. Super disappointed according to the chart for absorbency! There is no way I would have bled through a super tampon in 4 hours.

They're alright for backup or light flow days. I personally prefer my collection of Thinx if I'm going to free bleed. Knix are definitely closer to regular underwear thickness, but you sacrifice absorbency.

Sleep shorts praised for heavy flow overnight protection
I recommend the sleep shorts, they keep me clean for an entire night of heavy flow. I honestly wear them in the day too, they’re low profile enough I can wear them under proper pants, but not leggings.

Sleep boxers offer little protection and leak on heavier days
Those knix sleep boxers won’t give you much protection neither do their underwear. The only ones I like from there are their dream shorts. Everything else has leaked on heavier days.

I do still have the same opinion, I was actually just recently thinking about ordering a couple more pairs, but hesitated due to stuff I’ve read about Knix recently. I haven’t used pads in a while, and although I used to have a quite heavy flow, I think I now have more of an average to heavy-ish flow, so can’t say if it’d work for you or not. I do think they are maybe more suitable models from other brands for truly heavy flows.
