I tried the medium on in store and I have kind of broad shoulders so it fit well but reaching forward fully was a bit tight. I would’ve gotten the L but XL was the only one available so I got that. The L would’ve been better but XL is fine. It is a bit see-through but I don’t mind. I love it and the design is quite flattering

The looseness of the skirt and waist section means this is effective for pregnancy (fits at 36 weeks), while the buttons go low enough on the front that you could breastfeed. Great price compared to other maternity or nightgown options. Happy with the purchase. Fabric is light, so a bit translucent.
