Founded in 2001 by British designer Stella McCartney, the label distills a contemporary vision of fashion where style and environmental sustainability go hand in hand. Through her creations showcasing irreverent, yet architectural lines blending utilitarian designs with unabashed chic, she rethinks the very notion of luxury, eschewing leather and fur in favour of green alternatives.
This product meets the requirements of our Vision program because it comes from a circular production process or contains at least 50% reduced-impact materials compared to its conventional counterpart.
Recycled Polyamide
This product gives materials a second life. The recycled polyamide used to make it comes from fabric scraps, recovered clothing, or other pre- and post-consumer waste.
Reduction of Emissions
Recycled polyamide generates fewer carbon emissions compared to conventional polyamide, primarily because it does not require the extraction and refinement of virgin fossil resources.
Water Conscious
Producing recycled polyamide helps reduce water usage compared to conventional polyamide because the recycling process requires less water, making it an effective alternative fibre for reducing water consumption.
