These a definitely a far superior flip flop. I’ve always worn Havianas but with feet changes they’ve become too flat. These Archies are more comfortable alternatives. They are very cushiony and the arch really does give support. I would recommend them.

I would like to argue that the worth is entirely based upon how they fit you. I was recommended by my podiatrist to get a pair of their thongs, but when I tried them on we realized that they were way too small for my feet. For reference, I'm a EU36, sometimes smaller depending on the shoe style, with wide feet. In an Archies size 36, I couldn't even get my foot under the straps (my theory is they scaled down the entire pattern rather than just the foot bed). Sizing up made them too large and eliminated any support, making them a very expensive pair of regular thongs on me!

Durability issue: Archies flip flop strap tore after limited use
I bought them, didn't wear them all that much last summer. Used them on a trip. This summer, ground was wet, I went to turn around, twisted on my feet, when I went to get up, the top base part of the flip.flop just tore right off. They are comfortable but not that great in lasting.

Slides can be uncomfortable; rubbing and hot summer wear issues
I love the thongs but can’t wear the slides for long. I think for my foot the middle strap part is too wide. It rubs a hole on the top of my toes and the thick rubber strap is too hot in summer.

Arch support too high and straps stretch causing discomfort for narrow feet
I just can’t get used to them, they’re too high, too sloped, the arch itself feels like fkn tennisball in my foot and despite wearing them everyday they haven’t broken in, they haven’t softened at all, I’ve had to heat up the straps twice now to shrink them as they stretch on their own resulting in my narrow feet sliding all over the damn place which is unco on its own but then you’re facing blisters yuck.

Archies better than Old Navy but not a replacement for specialist recovery slides
I have Archie’s. They are certainly better than Old Navy as there is a little arch support and they are a little thicker/sturdier. But they are no where near recovery or PF specialist slides. I still wear them but in rotation with other flip flops and slides.
