In 1945, Frenchman Pierre Balmain created his eponymous label after the Second World War. His creations embodying the new quintessence of haute couture have been recognized by legendary figures of post-war Paris art for their virtuosity. Today, led by Olivier Rousteing, the label stands out worldwide for its style, where rich delicate fabrics and luxurious embroidery eloquently combine with silhouettes featuring compelling lines and smooth and rhythmic structures.
