Product Insights
KOMONO's Lionel Square Sunglasses ($150 CAD) target narrow faces with a 113mm total width, 49mm lenses, 15mm bridge, and 146mm temples, part of the 2025 Odyssey collection inspired by Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. The castor oil bio nylon frame, which biodegrades in about five years in landfill, features a slightly curved upper lensline for a soft edge. Category 3 lenses (8–18% light transmission) block 82–92% visible light and are legal for driving in UK/EU, undercutting premium brands by over half. However, the lenses are non-polarized (reducing brightness but not reflected glare) and flat (lacking 3D shaping for a two-dimensional appearance). One buyer reported six years of use with secure frame durability. Care requires the included case and cloth, avoiding paper tissues and direct sunlight.

Had a pair lasted me for like 6 years. Lenses were actually made of glass i believe and a metal frame

Komono Clements review
I own Komono Clements. Been happy with them. 40 euros, better than market tier, but Ray-Bans blow them out of the water though. But, they're 40 euros. The lenses aren't rounded or anything, thus they really don't have 3D shape. 3/5 would not buy again since I'm going to invest in a better pair but I'd recommend them.
