Wolford and Falke are high quality compared to Sheertex
Some people swear by sheertex, but there are a LOT of folks on here and elsewhere online who say that their sheertex ripped immediately and the company wouldn’t refund them. And they’re twice as expensive as normal expensive tights, like Wolford or Falke (both high quality)

Thick Wolford tights are durable, but thin sheer ones are not worth it
The thicker, opaque ones have literally lasted me years. I personally think they're worth it in a few solid colours you wear often but I wouldn't bother with getting the thin sheer ones - buy cheap, buy twice instead.

Wolford tights rip immediately; Capezio ballet tights are better
I just opened a 70 USD pair of back seam tights, indisputably the correct size, and first time putting them on a huge rip went up the entire leg. I’ve been wearing tights for years, I know how to put them on. My $15 ballet tights from Capezio are exceptionally better quality. I’m mortified.
