Product Insights
The Pearly Ring from Simons at $19 CAD offers an affordable entry to designer-style pearl jewelry with its solid-nacre baroque freshwater pearls set on an elastic one-size band that expands for easy on/off and comfortable layering without pinching, but buyers face tradeoffs: the 4mm width feels bulkier than typical stacking rings, the elastic may lose tension over time, larger hands may only fit the ring finger, and the soft pearls require careful storage away from harder jewelry and avoidance of cosmetics to prevent scratches.
Verified claims
- Fit
- Elastic one-size band stretches to fit several ring sizes and fingers, though on larger hands it may only fit the ring finger comfortably.
- Design
- Elastic band starts stiff and may lose tension over time with wear.
- Wearability
- Elastic band enables easy on/off and comfortable layering without pinching.
- Bulk
- Width is 4mm, thicker than typical stacking rings.
- Break-in period
- Initially stiff band softens with wear and fits multiple finger sizes.
- Pearl type
- Solid-nacre freshwater pearls, naturally white and baroque-shaped.
- Care
- Store separately from harder jewelry and avoid cosmetic contact.
- Pearl characteristics
- Baroque pearls offer an organic look but are soft and prone to scratching by harder rings.
- Value
- At $19 CAD, it is an affordable anchor piece compared to typical $95+ pearl stacking rings.
- Construction
- The ring is made of freshwater pearls strung on an elastic band. At 4 mm wide, it is a pearl band rather than a thin stacking band; the elastic adapts to finger size and prevents pinching in stacks, though it may stretch over time and feel bulky, and buyers still find it very pretty.
- Styling
- At 4 mm, this is a pearl band rather than a thin stacking band; its baroque freshwater pearls and width make it suited as the anchor piece in a mixed-width stack, with an organic, handcrafted look rather than a uniform imitation-pearl finish.
- Longevity
- Starts stiff and gradually loosens; avoiding water extends life.
- Storage
- Store ring in a soft pouch, away from other jewelry to prevent scratches.
- Chemical protection
- Apply cosmetics before wearing the ring, then wipe clean before storing.
- Convenience
- Slips on and off in one motion without a clasp.
- Pearl color
- The freshwater pearls are naturally white and are not dyed.
- Under-$20 value positioning
- At $19 CAD, the Pearly Ring is an under-$20 pearl ring; it competes on accessibility rather than material value, undercutting even the $79 floor for traditional metal-band pearl rings.
- Exclusivity / design origin
- The Pearly Ring is a Simons exclusive designed in Canada; the freshwater pearls themselves trace to Chinese freshwater mussel farms rather than Canadian or saltwater sourcing.

A pretty accent for dressing up
This pearly-beaded ring works as a fashion accent for social events and outings, and customer feedback describes it as very pretty. Its one-size elastic band lets you wear it on different fingers, though some wearers find it fits securely only on the ring finger, especially on larger hands. Reviews also note the elastic starts stiff but softens after several wears, and that its chunky profile may feel bulky if you usually prefer slim bands.[1]
Product comparison
Compared within this brand.
| Pearly Ring: Choose this if you want a delicate fashion accent ring made of freshwater pearls — customers described it as very pretty, with irregular baroque-style pearls in a glossy, iridescent white finish on a slim 4 mm elastic band. The one-size elastic stretches to wear on different fingers, though it may run small on larger hands (fitting only the ring finger for some) and its bulk may feel uncomfortable if you prefer slim, low-profile bands; the elastic also starts stiff but softens after several wears.[1,2] | Freshwater Pearl Ring: Choose this if you want a delicate finishing piece: a thin gold-tone band in plated gold stainless steel, about 5 mm wide, with a short row of five irregular off-white freshwater pearls and a small polished gold spacer bead. The pearls show natural irregularities, subtle warm-white to pale-cream color variation, and a lustrous nacre sheen, which Simons positions as a refreshingly chic touch to any outfit. Note it comes in an Assorted colorway in sizes 6 and 7 only, so it works only if those sizes fit.[3,4] | Pearl Open Ring: Choose this if you want an open ring with two smooth, polished parallel bands and four glossy white faux pearls graduated in size along one side. It has an 18 mm width, is made of brass with faux pearls rather than genuine pearls, and is offered in Silver or Assorted colors in sizes 6 and 7.[5,6] |

Comme elle est élastique, elle peut être portée sur n'importe quel doigt. L'élastique est un peu raide au début, ce qui peut la rendre inconfortable les premières fois, mais elle finit par s'assouplir.
