I have this necklace and I think it’s worth it. I’ve had it for roughly 2 years and I wear it to work pretty frequently (restaurant work) and it’s held up. Still has all the rhinestones, over time it has developed a patina because of the silver plating over the brass wearing away, but imo it adds to my love for it, nothing wrong with a well loved piece of jewelry. I just make sure not to sleep or shower with it on and it seems to have worked out well, it’s truly a staple piece in my jewelry collection!

You can use warm water and soap like Dawn. You might need a gentle bristle brush to really get rid of some grime, a baby’s toothbrush works well. Dry thoroughly and go over it with a jewelry cloth to finish polishing.

Brass necklace holds up well with careful maintenance
I've only had my necklace for around a year and a half now, but it still looks as good as the day I got it. Anytime I'm not wearing it I keep it in the original dust bag that it came with and whenever I do wear it I just make sure to keep it clean and dry it off really well if it gets wet to try and prevent any tarnishing. The lack of silver options are kinda lame but if you take care of your brass pieces really well they should last you a good amount of time.
