Mansur Gavriel lambskin felt dry but conditioned to softness
I bought a mansur gavriel lambskin that felt dry and it put me off, but it was my dream bag and thought, well, even my skin gets dried out sometimes, so I massaged it with some leather conditioner and buffed it out two times and now it's so beautifully soft to the touch.

Mansur Gavriel leather quality is poor with thin exterior and PU filling
I love their minimalistic designs, BUT--and this is a huge but--their quality in leathers are really poor. I've seen their bags peel before, and it turns out they use a thin layer of leather on the exterior, and fill it with PU leather on the inside, giving the illusion of quality leathers. You won't notice it at first, unless the exterior wears off or the stitching comes undone.

Mansur Gavriel leather feels hard and plastic-like
I have not had this bag but have given away a Mansur Gavriel tote. The leather was fine but nothing special, but my beef w it was how hard the leather felt, I felt like I was carrying hard plastic. There was no joy to my wearing experience. But other than that I thought construction felt solid. It just felt cheap.
