Shock at synthetic materials for the price
I have that bag in leather (caramel colour) bought 2 years ago. Price is for a new one is €395, without discount. The starting price of $710 is just insane. Over here the imitation and real leather also don’t really differ in price though? Might be worth checking if you can find a leather one too.

Ganni Bou material compared to other brands
The Ganni Bou is made from 65% recycled leather; the rest is plastic. And although many other APC bags are made from leather, the Ninon is made from "leather-like" material. The Bimba Y Lola bag is made from bonded leather, which isn't great quality. I wouldn't choose any one of those and would go for the Pinko since it's the only one that's actually leather.

I think it's super overpriced relative to the quality of the materials used for the bag. It's made with 65% recycled leather, 19% PU and 16% polyester, so it's essentially one-third plastic. At that price point, you can get much better quality from Coach, Furla or Coccinelle.

Explanation of recycled leather quality
Recycled leather isn’t really eco friendly or sustainable like some companies are advertising it as. Its leather scraps ground up and bonded with PU, with a PU top layer/embossed grain. It won’t wear as quickly/badly as PU - but won’t wear like leather. I’d be torn too, the color is amazing and it’s such a cute bag!
