I just received one (post ten week waiting period) , have carried it probably 6 times and am OBSESSED. I have the large Santa croc tan and it’s gorgeous. I had read previous reviews, so I did let it sit out in the sun for a few hours before using and have had no problem with staining. Big fan and will likely be ordering another-that espresso large Santa croc is caaaaaalling me

Comparison to Bottega Veneta and odd smell
I have a Jodie that I believe is in small. The handle drop for Jodies isn’t generous so I would choose a bigger size or maybe consider the Wallace. Dragon diffusion bags to me don’t smell like leather. I’ve tried them in person and I don’t know why their bags smell so odd. With that said, they are significantly cheaper than bottega.

Detailed review of Rosanna model: pros and cons
I have this exact bag in the brown colour! It’s a great size for a shoulder bag and I have found it to be comfortable under the arm as it’s squishy and not a rigid design. I have the Polene Dix and I find this one to be a lot more comfortable than Polene. I could easily fit a small water bottle, sunglasses, wallet with some room still to spare. It is very beautifully made but the one shoulder strap feels like it could be under strain if something heavy like a water bottle is placed in as the strap is a little thin. I haven’t had a problem with this so far though. It is definitely just a big hole essentially with no closure which is the biggest downside for me.

Santa Maria quality and missing lining
Quality is awesome; however, I wish it was lined with something or had that leather oval foundation it used to have at the bottom to help keep the shape! The leather does keep its shape on its own, but something else could make it perfect and give me some more peace of mind. Because it’s not lined or anything, it is relatively lightweight, which I like. It was $530 USD in Europe with an approx. $75 tax refund.

Disappointment with quality defects
I just received the bag after 7months and I’m also super disappointed. I’m on the edge of returning it because of scratches, excess white glue all over the bag (I ordered the Large Santa Croc in Dark Brown), handles are already stretched, discolor on the leather (It seems like it’s hand painted) etc.. I know it’s handmade but I don’t think it’s worth it. I am considering buying another bag instead😭
