I'm not in love with the look of the shiny coated leather, but they have some upgraded premium pairs without it, and even with it, it's an established preppy look that you can just lean into. And if you've ever wanted something with leather soles you can wear casually, they're it. Perfect option. At $80, go for it. You're not going to get anything else with an honest to god leather sole at that price- they're blake/rapid, so it's not just glued on, either.

Bought a pair second hand. Hated them. Kept thinking they’d get better with time but never did. Then I found a used pair of Allen Edmonds loafers to replace them and the difference is night and day. GH Bass are cheap and tight in all the wrong places. Your feet deserve better.
