Sizing down reduces heel slip but causes initial tightness
I ordered the Weejun penny lug loafers TTS and a size down. I have pretty slim feet and ankles so the tts my feet were just slipping out the shoe even with thick socks. The size down is kinda painful and tight rn but my feet don't slip out and i think as i break em in they will fit great.

Weejuns are nice looking and great for narrow feet despite cheapish sole
After seeing loads of negative comments on forums about the current Bass Weejuns, I ended up trying a pair and loving them. The 2 key positives for me: 1. The Weejuns in natural looking leathers are actually....really nice looking. On the Bass website, it's easy to differentiate between the natural leathers and those with the heavy artificial shine finish. 2. Weejuns fit slightly narrower feet great and are very comfortable. I do fine in D width laceups, but have a perpetual problem with loafers where my normal size feels like it's slipping off but sizing down feels wrongly small. Weejuns hug your feet really well in your normal, Brannock-measured size, and work if your feet are slightly narrow/low volume. I do wish they'd put on a better leather sole....even though a thinner, less serious sole can work on loafers, the Weejun sole does somehow feel a little cheapish.

Been saying they're garbage for years. They're just a popular name from back when. We carry them, along with several other loafer brands at a comparable price with way higher quality, and any time I'm asked to grab a Weejun I just also grab the others and show the client how bad they are. It usually works lmao
