Product Insights
The Fine Frame Aviator Sunglasses by Bottega Veneta are an in-stock $585 metal-frame design manufactured by Kering Eyewear. The all-metal frame with bio-sourced nylon lenses omits the signature ribbon for a lighter, understated look, with logo temples. The straight temples and narrow 16mm bridge, combined with adjustable nose pads, provide a secure everyday fit, but the 140mm width and 60mm lenses best suit narrow to average faces, requiring a face width of at least 135mm for balanced coverage. The lightweight metal construction minimizes sliding and nose pressure, offering a stable fit that offsets the oversized lenses, though the frame may pinch narrower bridges. As the lightest and most affordable Bottega Veneta aviator, it delivers a tradeoff of secure, comfortable wear for those with appropriate face dimensions.

Review of budget Bottega aviator sunglasses: drop-arm vs straight-arm
The other pair is the one that originally made me want to purchase — the stylish drop-arm design. They look extremely cool, but I have to say, they do slide down a bit. The arms are mostly for design and don’t provide a very secure fit. They’re perfect for sitting stylishly at a party, but not ideal for an active walk in the sun.
