Product Insights

Project X Paris's Grillz Graphic T-Shirt merges a 2,500-year tradition of tooth adornment with in-house manufacturing for consistent quality, using 5% spandex in the heavyweight jersey to preserve the oversized silhouette against stretching and shrinkage, but the thick screen-print that resists cracking also feels stiff and restricts breathability, making it a durable three-season piece best for casual wear over intense exercise, priced at $79 CAD with solid brand backing from 70+ artist collaborations and word-of-mouth growth.

  • Positive long-term review of Project X shirts from a CrossFit perspective

I’ve bought a shirt, sweatshirt, and hat from them back in 2018. I still have the sweatshirt and hat. I had to toss the shirt because it was my workout shirt (explained later). They’ve been around for a while and though they have their physical store in CA, they have ties to HI (not sure the specifics). IIRC they started in the CrossFit space and used to or still make the shirts for Crossfit Oahu and its affiliates. l got a shirt and probably put 2-3 years worth of workouts in it and eventually retired it. I haven’t kept up with their brand and if they’ve branched out or not, but they’re pretty trustworthy and their quality is good.

  • User testimonial on durability and favorite designs

I've been wearing their shirts for a few years now. Ever since I saw "mahalo burpees" on Bob of The Biggest Loser (2, maybe 3 years ago?). They hold up well. The designs haven't had issues with cracking yet. Although I'm sure they will at some point. It's unavoidable with the type of ink they use. My purple "dia de los deadlifts" is probably my favorite t-shirt I own. That's saying a lot considering I have an Apple t-shirt you can only get at the mothership store in CA, and am a huge Apple fanboy.
