Small dish, heavy weight.
Complements the Floral silhouette jam jar. Holds a small pat of butter, especially if you only want to put a little bit out at room temperature. Might want one for every two or three people. Really pretty, though.

This is great as a hostess gift. I was asked to bring bread to supper one evening. I placed the butter dish (with butter in it) into a basket with a tea towel, a loaf of artisan bread and a small butter knife. Our gracious host was very happy.

This are just to die for. Granted they are small for some, but being the only person who uses butter on her toast, well, I find it perfect! Glad I got 2. When one is being washed, I can have a second ready to go. These could even be a great gift for someone elderly who lives alone and loves her butter like me. They are attractive even on the kitchen counter. Like mentioned, I love them.
