Over 25 years of durable family use
I bought mine in 1997 - three different sizes (small being the ones pictured). I have broken maybe one glass in all that time. They have made it through the entirety of my two boys childhoods. These are really good glasses and I would be super bummed if the company folds or is bought out and switched over to making an inferior glass.

Comparison: Bormioli Rocco Rock Bar rated above Duralex Picardie
Not sure if you've seen the Rock Bar line from Bormioli Rocco - the famous Italian glassmaker. I like these better than the Duralex Picardie anyway, Id rate these a 10 and Picardie a 9. They stack higher (16) are tempered, and equal or better for shock and temp resistant Highly chip resistant rims and still crystal clear with no scratches after two decades of entertaining combined with daily use, we use them for everything even wine, and they have a perfect built in measuring line at a standardized 5 OZ wine pour. Spontaneous shattering and production issues
I’ve had one spontaneously shatter in the dishwasher. Duralex changed its oven a few years ago and that led to a lot of production problems, even bankrupting the company. It’s back under new management apparently but there may have been some bad batches, definitely return or exchange them.

Multiple set ownership and color preference
I have three sets of their Picardies, and they're all in dark grey. As soon as the 50cL becomes available in that tint I will gobble it up.
