Both salad and dinner plates are nice and large. To avoid plates without imperfections, shop in person. One out of four both dinner and salad plates had an uneven rim groove and glaze. Flaws are small — not worth an exchange. Plates are beautiful.

We have come to love these plates that have a rim around them to keep food from sliding off the plate. They do very well in the dishwasher and are easy to stack in the cupboard.
