Born to a Cree mother from Treaty 8 territory and an English father, Meghan Weeks is an artist living on the unceded Indigenous land of the Coast Salish peoples. A proud member of the Sucker Creek First Nation, she draws inspiration from nature, childhood memories, and Cree teachings to create and reclaim her culture and language through her silversmithing and beadwork.
