État d'esprit is the brainchild of Yanick and Alexandre, who cofounded the Brossés salon in 2016 in Montreal's Mile-Ex borough. Boasting over 20 years of hairdressing experience, both men were eager for a new project. The result was État d'esprit, a range of accessible, simple, easy-to-use, and authentic products. Each was meticulously developed with a specific goal in mind: making it easy to use, regardless of one's state of mind, be it ready to party or recovering from one. Their product line is accessible to everyone, because hair has no gender, after all!

This core set is the first step in getting healthy, beautiful hair. The gentle and deeply moisturizing shampoo contains vegetable glycerin, which helps to keep your hair hydrated, shiny, and easy to style. It also contains salicylic acid to refresh your scalp and remove impurities. The conditioner deeply moisturizes thanks to ingredients including sweet almond oil and wheat protein. It also helps repair your hair and make it shinier and softer, while also preventing frizz.
