Product Insights

The Veradek Refined Simplicity Planter (80 CAD) is a lightweight polyresin alternative to concrete, weighing 20 lb—a quarter of comparable planters—while replicating a stone-like matte finish. Its frost resistance (-30°C to +50°C), UV stability, and impact resistance ensure year-round outdoor durability without cracking or fading, surviving Canadian winters. As a tradeoff, its low weight may require ballast to prevent tipping, and its matte finish scratches easily when dragged. The planter offers a value advantage: winter survivability typical of planters twice the price, backed by in-house Canadian production and architectural specification. Suitable for indoor/outdoor use, it accommodates 16–18-inch pots and includes guidance on planting techniques like thriller-filler-spiller and weight-reducing filler layers.

Magnifique bien que dispendieux

Louise M.

Très beau pot. Beaucoup plus pour l'extérieur que pour l'intérieur selon moi. Mais très belle qualité.

Le pot plus que parfait

Un incontournable pour les décors minimalistes. Chic et épuré.

Source Threads

  • User recommends Veradek as an affordable planter option

Ended up buying Veradek, $140 for a 3-foot long rectangular box container was too good to pass up.

  • User reports cracking issue with Veradek Block planter

I can’t comment on the Demi, but I have a long Block planter and I would veto it. It looks really nice, but the construction has a weak point in that there is actually an air gap between the container that holds the soil and the outside of the box. When the soil gets too heavy, the seams can crack and you can’t really fix it. There are some pictures of this in the Amazon reviews.

  • User compares Veradek to alternative planter materials

No experience with veradek planters specifically since they are mostly plastic, but I’ve used some competitor brands over the past few years:
